If the materials you want is not held at this library, there are 3 ways to use other university libraries.
(Note: vistors cannot use this service.)  

(A) Interlibrary Copy Request (Weekdays 9:00-16:30)

You can request to send a photocopy of the material to university libraries in Japan/overseas, National Diet Library or specialized organizations.
Note: this is a pay service - copying and sending fee is necessary.

Procedures:

1. Search the article on document retrieval databases like CiNii or Google Scholar.
2. Seach OPAC if this library hold the material. If so, please find it in the library and use it.
3. If we don't have it, please make an interlibrary copy request through Web form or at the interlibrary loan counter.
4. When the document arrives, we will inform you the total fee by e-mail. Please come to the counter with the correct amount of money.

(B) Interlibrary Loan Request (Weekdays 9:00-16:30)

You can borrow books from university libraries in Japan/overseas, National Diet Library or specialized organizations through our library. When using the books, please follow the instructions of the institution. Sending fee (about 1,200 to 1,500yen) is necessary.
Some books are only usable inside this library.

Procedures:

1. Seach OPAC if this library hold the book. If so, please find it in the library and use it.
2.  If we don't have it, please make an interlibrary loan request through Web form or at the interlibrary loan counter.
3. When the book arrives, we will inform you by e-mail. Please come to the counter. We will give you the book and the receipt, which tells you the sending fee and  date of return.
4. Please return the book by due date, with the correct sending fee.

(C)Visit Other Libraries

To visit and use other university libraries, in some cases you are required to show the letter of introduction.  As it takes several day to ask the library to issue it, and in some cases we need to inquire regarding the conditions of your visit or the materials you want to use beforehand, please make sure to take time applying to our library.
