Temporary Use
- All visitors need to show identification cards at the entrance.
- You can search OAPC to find books and journals held in the library. Materials are free to browse, except those in the closed stacks or researchers' offices.
To Issue Library Card
- We can issue a library card if you want to use library continuously or to borrow books. Please apply at the circulation counter with following documents.
Time to issue cards: 8:30-17:00 on weekdays (We accept application anytime.)
Necessary documents:
1) Certification photo (3×2cm)
2) Public identification card (Note: your present address should be printed. Otherwise, please show another documents like postal matter.) - The issued card expires at the end of the fiscal year (March 31).
Borrowing & Returning Books
- You can borrow books at the circulation counter.
Checkout limits: 5 books (Prescribed textbooks, journals and magazines cannot be borrowed.)
Loan Period: 2 weeks (Extension is not permitted.) - Please bring books to the circulation counter. When the library is closed, book post is available at the right side of the gate of library.
Book Reservation
If you want to borrow on-loan books, you can make a reservation. Please fill in the application form at the circulation counter.Copying Documents
Copying machines are available inside the library (black and white copy: 10 yen per page, full color copy: 50 yen per page).
Ordering our Materials through Public Libraries (Interlibrary Loan)
You can request orders of our books or ask for document delivery through public libraries. Please ask for details at your nearest public library. Document delivery can be also ordered personally.

Payment: Advance payment is required; please send cash via registered post in advance.

Payment: Please enclose equivalent postage stamps when returning books.
